My Story…

I’ve been sitting here for a while, thinking about what to write here for you, because it really does mean so much that you’re here with me today, and I want nothing more than to touch your heart, and to help you on your journey.

After experiencing a lifetime of controlling, manipulative, and narcissistically abusive relationships, I honestly, like so many people, and resources available across the globe implies, thought I would feel immediate relief the moment I finally walked away. It simply wasn’t true.

Instead, I found myself repeating cycles and patterns, attracting the same kind of relationships over and over, and even after my training to become a positive psychology & trauma-informed coach specialising in Narcissistic Abuse, which again I thought would hold all the answers. I still wasn’t feeling better.

I had spent month after month trawling the internet searching for answers, but nothing had prepared me for the emptiness and loneliness I was feeling. Not only had I lost my marriage, my home, friends, my career, even my beautiful business “dumforter” that I had lovingly created with my children, the biggest loss of all was not material, it was the reality of seeing I had also lost me.

Nothing, or no-one could have, or did prepare me, for that moment.

But now, the mist has cleared, the fog has lifted, and I want to reassure you that with a little patience and time; Life can be good again.

I’m not going to say it has been easy, because it wasn’t. Healing cannot happen through insight alone, it takes patience, time, an immense amount of self-compassion and reflection. We cannot control what the outside brings, but we can take control from within.

She Sparkles has been lovingly created, combining both my lived and learned experiences. I wanted to create a beautiful safe space that feels like home for you. A home that you can live in, or just visit and return to, as and when you feel the desire or need.

I wanted to create something to comfort, inspire and empower you, helping you to take back your power, reclaim your life, and re-find your sparkle. 

From not knowing how I was going to go on four years ago, to becoming an Author of two books; an Amazon international best-seller “Hear Her Roar”, and a beautiful comprehensive self-paced healing companion and guide “The Price I Paid to be Me”, I feel truly blessed to be living a life of freedom again – physically, mentally, emotionally and financially, and deeply desire and wish for those same blessings for you.
